Governing law and jurisdiction
These legal notices, and any disputes arising in connection with the use of the MIKO platform, are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is St. Gallen, Switzerland, to the extent permitted by mandatory law. For consumer contracts, mandatory rules can restrict contractual choice-of-law and jurisdiction clauses, including protections linked to a consumer’s habitual residence. The qualifier “to the extent permitted by mandatory law” is therefore important.

Dispute resolution
Rotmont GmbH is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
